"The entry-level 2006 Yantra is a super-ripe, richly-textured wine loaded with voluptuous fruit and a pleasing personality. A blend of 40% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, it was aged entirely in steel. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011. I continue to be impressed with the wines of Tenuta dei Sette Cieli, a young property located in Monteverdi Marittima, in Maremma. Winemaking is overseen by consulting oenologist Attilio Pagli."
